Record: The German national football team will play its 1019th international match against the Netherlands in Amsterdam on Tuesday (8.45 p.m./RTL). The record stands at 587 wins, 211 draws and 220 defeats. The goal difference is 2285:1199.

Nations League: For the fourth time, the title will be played for in the still young UEFA competition for national teams. The Nations League winners so far have been Portugal (2019), France (2021) and Spain (2023). The 5-0 win against Hungary in the opening match was only the fourth victory for the DFB team in 17 matches. There were also nine draws and four defeats with a goal difference of 29:29. In addition to Hungary and Holland, Bosnia-Herzegovina are also opponents in Group 3. The first and second place teams advance to the quarter-finals.
