WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – A Wichita woman is charged with shooting and killing her son.
Tesha Florence made her first court appearance on Tuesday, and she is charged with second-degree murder, aggravated burglary and aggravated assault.
Florence allegedly shot her 16-year-old son, Robert Florence, on Oct. 9 at an east Wichita apartment. He died two days later.
Florence’s bond is set at $1.2 million, and she is scheduled to return to court on Oct. 24.
Police have not said what led up to the shooting.
