WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A judge in Sedgwick County has charged a woman with murder in connection to a shooting in northeast Wichita that killed Daryl Clark, 38, on Sunday.
Mercedes Muldrew was charged with first-degree murder in connection to the shooting.
The shooting happened in the 3500 block of N. Inwood St. at an apartment complex just before 5:45 p.m.
Police arrived and found Clark suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Muldrew is next due in court on Oct. 8. Her bond has been set at $750,000.
