Woman taken to jail after being found drunk and lost: North Ridgeville police blotter

NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio

OVI: Center Ridge Road

Around 2:30 am on October 1, police were dispatched for a drunk woman who appeared to be lost. She was arrested and charged with operating under the influence and transported to Lorain County Jail.

Hit-skip: Center Ridge Road

On October 3, a driver was arrested after a hit-skip crash.

Disorderly conduct: Bainbridge Road

An officer was dispatched to the high school on September 26 for a potential problem with a former parent. The principal told the man he wouldn’t meet with him, and the suspect became belligerent and cussed at him before leaving the building.

Disturbance: No address

On October 3, police responded to a disturbance. All involved parties were identified, and the city prosecutor will review a report to determine possible charges.

Fireworks complaint: No address

A man was cited for discharging fireworks on October 5.

OVI: Avon Belden Road

On October 5, a resident called 911 to report an injury accident. The at-fault driver was injured and transported to the hospital. She was later charged with drunk driving.

Theft: Center Ridge Road

On October 6, a woman was arrested and charged with theft, driving under OVI suspension and using weapons while intoxicated.
