BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, SEPT 29 – A total of 60 mosque officials across the country attended the Effective Sermon Delivery Workshop held at Jame’ Asr Hassanil Bolkiah, Kampung Kiarong, yesterday.
The workshop organized by the Department of Mosque Affairs (JHEM) through the Guidance and Training Division aims, among other things, to provide information to mosque officials about the laws in delivering sermons.
In addition to applying the related sunnahs of the Prophet SAW in the delivery of the sermon, it is also desired to understand the Arabic text of the opening text of the first sermon and the entire text of the second sermon.
In addition, the workshop is also to provide practical training in sermon delivery in terms of tempo control, voice intonation and others.
The workshop was delivered by the Head of the Guidance and Training Division, JHEM, Ministry of Religious Affairs, Pengiran Ahmad Faris Ramadhani bin Pengiran Haji Sellahuddin.
