BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, 23 SEPT – The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (KKBS) in collaboration with the Ministry of Religious Affairs (KHEU) has promoted the Wira Fajar Youth Program of Fardu Subuh Congregation in the Mosque 2024 held at the Az-Zakireen Mosque, the National Housing Plan ( RPN) Kampung Meragang, recently.
Present as guests of honor at the program were the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad and the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs, Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohd Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan.
The program was also attended by more than 400 pilgrims consisting of KKBS and KHEU officers and staff, mosque renovation committee members, government officials, youth associations and movements, mosque youth and villagers.
The program started with Fardu Subuh prayers in congregation led by the Mosque Affairs Officer, Imam of Az-Zakireen Mosque RPN Kampung Meragang, Haji Nurhidayatullah bin Haji Zulkiiflee.
The event was then followed by a dawn prayer titled Future Ready Youth delivered by the Acting Registrar of the Seri Begawan Religious Teaching University College (KUPU SB), Awang Abdul Rahman bin Haji Ajak.
In addition, the program was also continued with a mass recitation of Surah Al-Kahfi led by the youth of Az-Zakireen Mosque, RPN Kampung Meragang, Awang Muhammad Izzat Nashruddin bin Mohammad Kamaruddin.
While the reading of Doa Allah Peliharakan Sultan and Negara Brunei Darussalam was led by the Imam of Az-Zakireen Mosque.
Such a program is expected to educate the youth to perform congregational prayers in the mosque as well as provide exposure to the youth by filling in beneficial activities that bring the youth to support the idea of a Nation of Zikir.
Also present, Permanent Secretary (Youth), KKBS, Haji Zakaria bin Haji Serudin; and KHEU Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary, Awang Misle bin Haji Abdul Karim.
