BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, 1 OCT – For the first time, as an appreciation and recognition of the outstanding achievements of the students in the academic field, a total of 282 students including eight with special needs received certificates at the Certificate Presentation Ceremony of Religious Primary Schools (SSSRU) Grade 6 Year 1445H/2023M for Brunei Area Religious Schools 1.
The ceremony took place at Pengiran Anak Puteri Muta-Wakkilah Hayatul Bolkiah Religious School Hall, Kampung Serusop this afternoon. Present as a special guest was the Head of the Examination Division, Department of Islamic Studies (JPI), Ministry of Religious Affairs, Awang Azman bin Haji Jaya, who also completed the presentation of certificates to the celebrated students.
The ceremony started with the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah by Awang Mohd Halidi bin Haji Basar. Followed by a welcome speech by the Chairman of the Committee for Leaders of Religious Schools in Brunei District 1, Awang Azmerul bin Haji Haris.
The purpose of the ceremony was to appreciate the hard work of the students, the support of the parents, as well as the dedication of the teachers in ensuring excellent achievements in the examination.
In addition, it also recognizes the important role of the school in helping students achieve success.
