BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, OCT 2 – In a continuous effort to strengthen its commitment to develop a culture of innovation and excellence, Bank Baiduri held the Third Leadership Forum which took place at the Baiduri Community Room, Baiduri Bank Headquarters, recently.
According to a statement issued by Bank Baiduri, here, as an employee development initiative of the parent Bank Baiduri Group, the one-day leadership forum aims to improve leadership efficiency throughout the organization by promoting collaboration and mutual learning among its leaders and managers.
This year, the forum emphasized empowering leaders to handle high-performing teams in response to the complexities of the rapidly changing financial landscape, while embodying Baiduri Bank’s core values ​​of reliability, inclusivity, empathy and entrepreneurial spirit.
Certified leadership coach from John IT Consulting, John Tse Tow Joon Chung delivered a session on leadership transformation offering practical insights into fostering leadership adaptation and growth.
Throughout the program, the participants have explored the main themes including self-awareness and situational awareness, the importance of values ​​and vision in leadership and an introduction to the model Leadership Circle.
The event also included a panel discussion session on leadership strengths and challenges as well as an informal discussion session for managers to share their experiences and engage in discussion on key leadership topics.
Reflecting on the significance of the event, Bank Baiduri’s Chief Executive Officer, Ti Eng Hui stated that investing in our leaders is an investment in the future of Bank Baiduri.
By addressing strong leadership skills and fostering a collaborative team environment, organizational performance can not only be improved but also the team can be strengthened and its full potential achieved.
At the end of the forum, a total of 24 awards were presented to various department heads and their teams in recognition of their achievements in 2024.
