Sport: The distribution took place during a charity dinner.
Berge was voted player of the season by both the fans and his teammates. He thus received two honours.
The Norwegian has delivered an impressive first season at Turf Moor. He has started 32 out of 34 games in the Premier League.
– This means a lot to me. Burnley is a fantastic football club. I love coming to work every single day and being part of such a special club with so many great people, Berge said in his acceptance speech.
He then praised the fans who voted for him for one of two awards.
– The support from you has been fantastic. It has been special for me, said the midfielder.
Berge joined Burnley from Sheffield United.
