Previously, BLACKPINK’s lead singer and rapper made a stunning entrance on the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. In a nod to this year’s dress code, the music star gave a unique performance wearing a flowy cobalt blue minidress to represent the sea, one of three areas of the exhibition that focuses on the wonders of the natural world. The topic was “The garden of time”inspired by the eponymous story by the English writer JG Ballard, published in 1962 that portrays the ephemeral nature of beauty.

Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin and INfor their part, attended their first Met Gala on Monday, May 6 as guests of Tommy Hilfiger, who created custom pieces for each member in the brand’s signature red, white and blue color palette with rich gold accents. All eight members of Stray Kids wore elegant tailored suits from the collection, layered under oversized coats.
