Grøvdal twelve seconds away from the Olympic requirement in street running

Sport: The requirement to qualify directly for the Summer Games in Paris is 30.40, according to the channel. Thus, Grøvdal was twelve seconds behind the requirement in Herzogenaurach, Germany.

She herself holds the Norwegian record for the distance with 30.32. She put it on the Hytteplanmila in Hole in 2020.

Kenyan Agnes Jebet Ngetich won Saturday’s race in 30.03, which is just two seconds slower than the world record for the 10 kilometer street race.
