BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, SEPT 12 – As a sign of gratitude to Allah SWT to celebrate the success of graduates who have successfully completed their studies for the 2021-2024 study session, the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Al-Quran Tahfiz Institute (ITQSHHB) held a Thanksgiving Prayer Ceremony in conjunction with Haflut Takharruj 12th, today.
Present as the guest of honor at the ceremony which took place in the Main Conference Hall, International Conference Center, Berakas was the Minister of Religious Affairs, Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Director Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman as Chairman of the ITQSHHB Board.
Also present were deputy ministers, permanent secretaries and acting deputy permanent secretaries of the Ministry of Religious Affairs (KHEU), special guests, as well as employees and graduates of ITQSHHB who were celebrated.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by ITQSHHB Aliyah Qiraat Diploma Lecturer, Haji Abdul Rashid bin Haji Mohammad Saad.
Next, the welcome speech was delivered by ITQSHHB Acting Principal Awang Mohammad Ali Sabri bin Haji Yussof, as chairman of the ceremony, which was followed by the presentation of the Aliyah Qiraat Diploma Excellence Award to 20 graduates consisting of 15 men and five women.
The ceremony then witnessed the presentation of certificates of appreciation to sponsors and members
The 12th ITQSHHB Haflut Takharruj Committee.
The ceremony ended with the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and a Prayer of Thanksgiving by ITQSHHB Aliyah Qiraat Diploma Lecturer, Dr. Sheikh Haji Mutiaa’ Al-Kabbani Mahmoud.
