NEW YORK, OCT 2 – Iran launched its latest missile attack against the Israeli regime because the country had no other option following the failure of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), the Permanent Representative of Iran’s Mission to the UN said on Tuesday, reported Sputnik.
“The Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran have launched a series of missile attacks against the Israeli regime’s military and security targets,” the permanent representative said in a letter to the President of the UN Security Council shared with reporters.
According to the permanent representative, it is regrettable that the UN Security Council has failed in its basic duty to maintain international peace and security.
“This failure has left the Islamic Republic of Iran with no choice but to exercise its right under international law to take legal action in defense of national security and its important interests,” he said. – Named
