Education: The stipend has previously been NOK 2,675, but will increase from this autumn, Lånekassen informs.
– The countries have been chosen because they are strategically important cooperation countries for Norway, and there is a desire for more people to choose to study here. The additional scholarship is intended to help recruit and helps to make the stay abroad possible, says communications director Anette Bjerke at Lånekassen.
The extra grant is in addition to the normal student loan. This loan also increases from next academic year, from NOK 137,907 to NOK 151,690.
