Crime and justice: – The laser was left standing when the patrol jumped into the car and drove after a driver who did not want to stop for a check, operations manager HÃ¥kon Hatlen in the East police district tells Romerikes Blad after the sensational theft.

The incident occurred when a patrol from the Emergency Police (UP) carried out a check on Nedre Rælingsveg at 9pm on Thursday evening.

Operations manager Henrik Larsen tells NTB that a car with two people stopped, tapped the meter and drove away.

– Fortunately for us, a witness had taken a picture of the laser thieves, so we were able to find the car owner quite quickly, with whom we have been in contact, Lasen told NTB at 1.15 on Friday night.

Two people have admitted to having something to do with the theft, but the laser has still not been found. The police believe it has been thrown into lake Øyeren.

– This smells like compensation claims, the police say NRK.

Larsen says it is about expensive equipment, which has little use value for anyone other than the police.
