Manchester United star apologizes for social media episode

Sport: Garnacho made headlines when he appeared in the tally of people who had liked a post from football profiler Mark Goldbridge.

The post referred to Garnacho being replaced at half-time in the match against Crystal Palace in the previous series round. Goldbridge more than suggested that Ten Hag indirectly blamed the winger for the poor performance and “threw him under the bus”.

– Alejandro is a young player and has a lot to learn. He apologized for that and after that we moved on,” the United manager said when asked about the incident on Friday.

Garnacho, who has delivered a solid season for Manchester United, is said to have quickly removed his “like” from the post in question.
