Sport: Haaland scored his goals number 22, 23, 24 and 25 in this year’s Premier League and is aiming for a new top scorer title. Two of the goals came on penalties.

The first hit came from the chalk mark. Rayan Aït-Nouri swept down Josko Gvardiol after 10 minutes of play, and Haaland put the penalty safely into the goal. He sent the goalkeeper to one side and the ball to the other.

A screwed Haaland was also close to a header a few minutes later, but this time Wolverhampton’s goalkeeper José Sá was in the right place. He wasn’t after 34 minutes of play. Then the header from the Norwegian sat perfectly in the far corner from close range on a pass from Rodri.

The 4-1 scoring came just after Wolverhampton reduced eight minutes after the break. Then Haaland received a pass from Phil Foden in the back room and thundered in with his good foot, the left, from around 13 meters away. The ball flew elegantly into the far corner.

It was Haaland’s 36th goal of the season, and his 25th in the Premier League. That makes him the clear top scorer in the Premier League, just as he was last season.

In the 82nd minute, the job was done. Then Haaland was clapped off the pitch, and Julian Alvarez came on for his 100th game for City. Three minutes later, the Argentine put in the 5-1 score.

Haaland himself was not happy with being replaced. He got into an argument with manager Pep Guardiola and proceeded to issue some fresh remarks after he had sat down.

Manchester City have everything in their own hands ahead of the start of the season. If they win all the games, everything is decided.

This is what the program looks like:

11 May: Away against Fulham

14 May: Away against Tottenham.

May 19: Home to West Ham.

Manchester City have not lost in their last 43 home games. Manchester City have lost three games in the Premier League this season. One of them was 1-2 away for Wolverhampton.

The 3-0 score came well into overtime in the 1st half. This time it was Haaland himself who was fouled, and after the referee had conferred with VAR, a penalty was awarded. Again, the City striker sent down to his left in much the same way as the first penalty. The keeper went the right way, but did not reach.

Many have claimed that the 23-year-old hasn’t looked as fit after the injury layoff, but there was little sign of such a thing on Saturday. Then he was once again a deadly giant.

The victory meant that Manchester City cemented 2nd place behind Arsenal in the table. They are one point behind the London club with one game less played.
