New oil discovery in the North Sea

Economy and business: The discovery was made in the Ringhorne Nord exploration well in the North Sea, states Vår Energi in a press release.

– The discovery shows that there are still opportunities in the mature areas on the Norwegian continental shelf, says operational director Torger Rød in the company.

– We believe there is still value in the area, and we are now intensifying our exploration activity to extract maximum value from the existing infrastructure, he says.
