Economy and business: The Switch has been a huge success for the company, but is now in its eighth year and becoming ripe for replacement.
The announcement of Nintendo’s next game console will come during the fiscal year, company president Shuntaro Furukawa promises in a message on X/Twitter.
On Tuesday, Nintendo presented a record result of 490 billion yen – equivalent to around NOK 28 billion. The company is well helped by a weak exchange rate. However, they warn that the development may be somewhat weaker going forward.
