Sport: Already after twelve minutes, Erica Parkinson and Laila Hubert had each scored a goal for the British. Lola Brown made it 3-0 after the break.
The match was played in the Swedish city of Lund.
Norway received a tough draw in the championship and will also face host nation Sweden and reigning champions France in the group stage.
Norway plays against France on 8 May and Sweden on 11 May. Those matches will determine whether Norway manages to advance in the play-offs.
The top two teams in each group advance to the semi-finals.
In Group B, Spain, Belgium, Poland and Portugal were placed. Spain is the reigning world champion and losing EC finalist in the J17 class for the last two years.
The final will be played in Lund on 18 May.
