If there is no need, singer Shila Amzah will not leave the house and spend time fully with her family.
Shila or Nurshahila Amir Hamzah, 34, said that the demands of work in addition to having to go back and forth abroad made her value time with her husband and children more.
“August, September and October are busy months for me. From Shanghai-Wuxi (China) to Malaysia, then to Bali (Indonesia) and back to Malaysia then I have to go to China again.
“It’s a week in three or four days at home and then fly back abroad for work. Because of that, if there is no need I don’t feel like going out, I just want to be with my children,” he said.
Shila shared this while answering a question posed by followers on her Instagram who wanted to know how she divides her time between family and career.
In the meantime, Shila said, although her schedule is tight, the sacrifices made are for the sake of her beloved family.
Shila is also grateful when her eldest son, Seth Uwais, understands his duties as an entertainer and is often far away.
“That’s what I had to sacrifice but I’m grateful Alhamdulillah my son Seth understands and is good at making video calls. I also miss Rhea (daughter), I miss her ‘sour’ smell but in the end I made all these sacrifices for the family only because of God,” he said.
Last Monday, Shila announced that she will be competing in a television program in China Singing With Legends sixth season.
Shila said, participation in the program is a step to continue to develop and strengthen the art career at the international level. – Agency
