Sport: After the victory, 12 points separate reigning league champions Feyenoord in 2nd place, with only three games left in the season.

It was the visitors who came out the best from the start as Metinho sent Sparta Rotterdam into the lead after just eight minutes. However, Said Bakari scored an own goal just eleven minutes later and ensured that the teams were level again.

After just under half an hour, Johan Bakayoko completed the turnaround when he sent PSV into the lead, but it only lasted three minutes before Olivier Boscagli also scored an own goal to make it 2-2.

However, the same man leveled again when he gave PSV a new lead midway through the second half, before Jordan Teze sealed the result with 12 minutes left on the clock.

Tobias Lauritsen played the entire match for Sparta Rotterdam.

The league gold was PSV’s 25th in the honorary division. Only Ajax has more league titles with their 36 triumphs.
