Sport: Swiss Look and Austrian Courier is among the media who claim that Hirscher wants to return to the ski slope at the top level.
Both VG and Television 2 has mentioned the matter.
Victory machine Hirscher retired as an alpine climber after the 2019 season. Five years later, the man with two Olympic golds, seven World Cup golds and 67 World Cup victories can finally be back.
However, according to Kurier and Blick, Hirscher will not represent Austria if he returns to the alpine circus. Instead, the 35-year-old will drive for the Netherlands, which is his mother’s home country.
Earlier this year, it was announced that Lucas Braathen is also making a comeback as an alpine skier. He will compete for Brazil in the future.
