– It is an overall assessment. It has been quite tough years as a state administrator, and I am also at an age where I am thinking of retiring. Health is not quite at its best anymore either, she tells the newspaper.
Aspaker has been state administrator in Troms and Finnmark since 2019, and his term expires at the turn of the year. From 2017 to 2019, she was state administrator in Troms, and before that she was elected as a parliamentary representative for Troms Høyre for three periods. From 2013 to 2015, she was Minister of Fisheries in Erna Solberg’s government.
Earlier this year, it was decided that there should only be one state administrator in Troms and Finnmark, even though Troms and Finnmark are now two separate counties again after four years as one county.
