War and conflicts: – Today I resigned with a heavy heart from the organization I grew up in, writes Bekkhus on his open Facebook page according to VG.

Bekkhus was until 10 May last year the leader of Rødt’s youth organisation.

The reason why Bekkhus is now opting out is Rød Ungdom leader Amrit Kaur’s Tiktok post where she labels Jonas Gahr Støre, Jens Stoltenberg and Nicolai Tangen as terrorists, among other things.

It was The online newspaper who featured the video first.

Kaur’s post has received a lot of criticism – and late on Friday evening she tells Nettavisen that she withdraws the terrorist statement regarding Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre.

– I retract the statement that Støre is a terrorist. I had just come out of solitary confinement and probably had a bit of a high energy level. My point was not to define Støre as a terrorist, but to point out that Norway has not distanced itself well enough from the genocide in Palestine, and also participated in the genocide of the Palestinian people, says Kaur.
