Amanda Holden showed off her curves – and a bit more – in a figure-hugging dress sharing her excitement for Christmas.

The Heart Radio icon, 52, is no stranger to sparking conversations with her outfits, having regularly received complaints about her looks while hosting Britain’s Got Talent – even if fully covered-up.

Amanda has in the past been hit with accusations she doesn’t wear a bra, but she’s denied this multiple times.

That’s because, in her own words, ‘my nipples are always affected by the cold.’

And on Tuesday, the star braved the cold to show off her new outfit.

In a video posted to Instagram, Amanda went through her outfit from her tan knee-high boots to a gorgeous fitted dress which she declared was perfect ‘from going from day to evening if you’re getting a start on your Christmas drinks.’

She went on to reveal a large white handbag that held her entire makeup bag, along with a camel coat which she said had to be ‘a staple in anyone’s wardrobe.’

In April, Amanda spoke about the fact her nipples appear to often be on show in photos regardless of whether she’s wearing a thin t-shirt or a thick jumper, and insisted ‘I’m not braless.’

‘The fact is, I’m wearing Skims [bras], but my nipples are always affected by the cold. There’s nothing I can do about it.’

She previously joked she could be wearing 20 mattresses and her nipples would still be on show (Picture: instagram.com/noholdenback)

The star then came out with an incredibly fairytale analogy to describe her problem – the Princess and the Pea.

’20 mattresses down and you still see my nipples. They show through anything.’

Amanda joked to OK! Magazine that her pointy nipples acted as a compass and that at least she would ‘never get lost.’

Her new video comes after broadcaster Piers Morgan – a friend of Amanda’s – defended her on his show Uncensored, where he was interviewing controversial influencer Andrew Tate.

Tate, 36, who was arrested last year on rape and human trafficking charges, commented on a photo Amanda shared to Instagram of herself in a bikini.

He said: ‘You are a wife and a mother and youre [sic] far past a teenager. There is no need for this post.’

Piers began by calling Amanda ‘a very good friend of mine’ and described the photo as ‘harmless’ and ‘extraordinarily beautiful’.

He said Tate’s comment was ‘misogynistic,’ with Tate shouting over him – as he had done all through the interview – ‘it’s not misogynist.’

Tate went on to rantingly insist he was ’empowering’ Amanda by reminding her, as he sees it, ‘modesty is empowering for a female.’

Amanda herself previously spoke about Tate’s comment on her Instagram, saying she had been tempted to post the photo with the caption: ‘Kiss my 52-year-old arse.’

She continued: ‘But you just know something like that’s going to go on and on – and in the end, why give him the oxygen?’

When asked if she has plans to dress more modestly, Amanda made clear to The Telegraph she won’t be covering up.

‘I will always listen to myself first, because I dress for me – nobody else,’ she said.
