Crime and justice: According to the verdict from the Oslo district court, the man stabbed her several times with a kitchen knife in the chest.
The incident took place in the couple’s shared apartment in Oslo.
The man did not succeed in killing the woman because she strongly resisted and because other people came to the apartment, according to the verdict.
The man has acknowledged the actual circumstances, but has explained that he did not remember the actions he was accused of.
He must also pay the woman a total of NOK 387,000 in restitution and compensation.
