Nature and environment: – Missing people have been found. He has been confirmed dead, Møre and Romsdal police district informs X.
The man was found at 1.53 with the help of a police drone, says operations manager Jens Dahl to NTB.
There is no suspicion that anything criminal has occurred.
The man was first reported missing by family members at 9.50pm. Then they themselves had looked for the man, without success.
– He had gone for a walk in a familiar area he is used to walking in, but he had not returned home. The family then notified the police, Dahl told NTB just before midnight.
Dahl further stated that the man was in his late 70s.
