Leisure time: – I feel privileged to be able to take part in conveying the party and the atmosphere from the whole country to the whole country, says Hasnaoui.
It will be the fifth year in a row that she presents NRK’s broadcast on the national day. She has also had the job before.
– We offer a wonderful mix of guests from our studio on Slottsplassen. Here something is too small and too big, and humor and seriousness in a beautiful combination, she promises.
She will be joined by commentator Kirsti Falch-Nilsen, who will comment on the children’s train in Oslo for the second year in a row, and Norman Mubashir as outgoing reporter.
There will be a live broadcast on NRK for over six hours, starting from Slottsplassen at 07.50. In addition to the well-known broadcast from the capital, there will be features from NRK’s 13 district offices across the country.
Viewers can also look forward to culinary features from master chef Bent Stiansen, the national anthem from Kajsa Balto and visits from, among others, Minister of Culture Lubna Jaffery, actor Ingar Helge Gimle and artist Ulrikke Brandstorp.
There will also be a quiz with celebrities and meetings with festively decorated Norwegians at Slottsplassen. In addition, there will be video greetings from Norwegians celebrating National Day abroad, including from Sydney in Australia and the world’s southernmost May 17 train in Antarctica.
