Crime and justice: Farro, who also testified on Friday, has been called as a witness because he has detailed knowledge of accounts that Trump allegedly used to illegally pay money to porn actress Stephanie Clifford, better known as Stormy Daniels.

Trump is charged with having broken accounting legislation in connection with the payment of 130,000 dollars, just over NOK 1.4 million before the presidential election in 2016. The purpose was allegedly to ensure that Clifford kept a close eye on the fact that she and Trump had had sex in a hotel for ten years earlier. Trump himself denies criminal guilt and denies that the incident took place.

The trial began on April 22, and Trump is required to be present in court. He has reacted strongly to this, calling it a political witch hunt, and complains that the case steals time he could use to run an election campaign before the presidential election in November.
