Crisis plan: With recognition of the risk of war, invasion and starvation, the new plan takes account of various scenarios, reports Haugesund’s newspaper.

Center Party’s Liv Åse Solstad Hagland highlighted the need to ensure food supply for vulnerable groups such as institutions and care centres. She emphasized the importance of dialogue with food suppliers to strengthen access to food in case supply lines are broken during war, writes the newspaper.

According to the newspaper, mayor Nils Konrad Bua emphasized the cooperation between various units in the municipality to handle emergency situations effectively. The plan takes into account everything from shelters to nuclear preparedness, with the aim of strengthening Haugesund’s resilience against various threats.
