Sport: Jærbuen saw City pull out on Wednesday after the penalty drama against Real Madrid. He was replaced when the second leg ended 1-1 and went to extra time.
– It’s tough to be out of the Champions League like this, but I couldn’t be more proud of the team. We showed heart and gave everything until the very end, Haaland writes in one message on X.
Manchester City cannot defend last year’s triple triumph, but is still in a position to win the Premier League and the FA Cup.
– We still have other goals to achieve, and it starts this weekend. So let’s do it, adds Haaland.
The striker has recently received a lot of criticism for his lack of scoring and weak performances in City’s big games.
