Sport: The Minnesota Wild are not in this year’s NHL playoffs. Therefore, the calendar is free of national team assignments for the Norwegian. He has not played a WC for Norway since in Russia in 2016.

Zuccarello played and scored in a loss to the Seattle Kraken in the last game of the regular season for the Minnesota Wild. They were never really in the fight for a place in the playoffs.
During Friday’s press conference, according to journalist Michael Russo, he made the following message that Russo has placed on X.
– He said he will play for Norway in the World Cup if he makes the team, writes Russo.
Just that hardly presents any problem.
– The NHL season is over for Mats. For the first time in a very long time, there will be no NHL playoffs on him. He is also injury-free, says Skabo.
This year’s WC in ice hockey will be played on 10-16 May in the Czech Republic.
