Policy: The demonstrators were arrested when they stopped traffic on several roads around the private university, which is one of the oldest in the USA, on Monday, writes the university newspaper Yale Daily Times.
It is not clear how many of those arrested are possibly students at Yale.
In an article in the newspaper last week, it was stated that the university does not intend to withdraw its investments in American arms manufacturers.
Also at New York University in Manhattan, a similar protest led to arrests after the demonstrators refused to follow the university’s order to leave.
