Policy: – Karlsen is an experienced and committed state administrator in Nordland, and we are happy that he wants a new term, says Minister for Digitalization and Public Administration Karianne Tung (Ap) in a press release.
Karlsen has a background in political governance as deputy mayor in Bodø and state secretary in the Ministry of Transport. He is a qualified doctor and has also worked as an anesthetist and senior physician.
He is currently in his sixth year as state administrator in Nordland.
