Sport: It is Aftonbladet who mentions the injury problems of the midfielder who left Molde for Henning Berg’s AIK at the turn of the year.

Ellingsen has not been on the field for the capital club since the first days of March.

– We are quite sure what is wrong. Our medical team has done a very thorough examination, and we had that prognosis tested by a very, very renowned doctor abroad, and he confirms the diagnosis, says AIK’s Norwegian sports manager Thomas Berntsen to Aftonbladet.

He will not reveal where Ellingsen has been for examination.

– We have now taken some measures to speed up the process, and it has been positive. We will see how quickly he can be back, but we hope in a few weeks, says Berntsen.

The AIK top brass have previously joked that the club will have to use “voodoo dolls, healing and incense” to find out about Ellingsen’s injury problems.
