Sport: Pogacar will start the first three-week race of the season as a strong favourite. On Tuesday, the UAE team presented the seven riders who will help him on his way to victory.
Alongside Vegard Stake Laengen, the squad consists of Danish Mikkel Bjerg, Felix Grosschartner, Rafal Majka, Sebastian Molano, Domen Novak and Rui Oliveira.
Pogacar has set himself the goal of winning both the Giro d’Italia and the Tour de France this season. The last time a cyclist went to the top in both races was in 1998. Then the Italian legend Marco Pantani did just that.
