Launches digital solution for fraud

Fraud: The police have recently launched a form for reporting fraud and fraud on, which makes it easier for the public to submit reports via e-mail instead of physically turning up at the police station.

According to section leader Kim Nedrehegg at Stord police station, the digital submission will reduce the need for manual registration of police reports and contribute to better prioritization of resources, writes Sunnhordland.

Fraud has become the new everyday crime in the digital age, and statistics show an increase in financial crime, writes the newspaper.
