Sport: With the three points, Molde is still keeping pace with league leader Glimt. They both have 13 points, but the northerners have a better goal difference and, in addition, one game less played.

Magnus Wolff Eikrem was back in the starting eleven on Sunday after injury problems and scored the first goal of the match. Then Kristian Eriksen added to make it 2-0. Sory Diarra was responsible for the visitors’ scoring in the second half.

Both Fredrik Gulbrandsen and Eikrem were back in the starting eleven after injury. Gulbrandsen had a great assist for Eriksen’s goal.

Haugesund has two wins and three losses at the start of the season. Molde hosts Sandefjord, while Haugesund welcomes YMCA Oslo in the next round.

The leading goal came after just four minutes when Eikrem and Kristoffer Haugen combined beautifully on the side. Left back Eriksen then found Eikrem in the box who poked the ball into the net.

Ten minutes into the second half, Diarra poked the ball into the goal for the visitors, but the goal was canceled for a fine offside. But after 70 minutes he was to succeed after a great counterattack.

Diarra positioned himself well in the field and had made room when Oscar Krusnell hit the ball in. Molde goalkeeper Jacob Karlstrøm could not stop the finish from close range. Afterwards, Molde was closer to increasing the lead than FKH was to equalise.

However, Molde had to manage without Mats Møller Dæhli, who suffered an injury against Bodø/Glimt in the last round. 19-year-old Alwande Roaldsøy replaced Dæhli as the anchor in midfield.

Molde continued to control the game and after ten minutes the lead was doubled. Eriksen came at high speed and headed Gulbrandsen’s cross.
