Sport: On Thursday, City won comfortably 4-0 away to Brighton and are now one point behind Arsenal in the Premier League with a game to spare on leaders Arsenal and third-placed Liverpool (two points behind Arsenal).
Although Manchester City have gone 17 games in a row without defeat, Guardiola warns against thinking that the road to victory is paved.
– A lot can happen. What happened to Liverpool against Crystal Palace and Everton can happen to us, it can happen to Arsenal. No one is insured against that, he added Sky sports after Thursday’s game.
Despite the home loss to Crystal Palace and Wednesday’s defeat to city rivals Everton, Guardiola appears to fear Liverpool at least as much as Arsenal in the Premier League finals run.
– They will fight to the end.
Liverpool’s next game is away to West Ham on Saturday. On Sunday, Arsenal meet Tottenham, while Manchester City visit Nottingham Forest.
