Policy: – We hope peace and stability will soon return to Europe, and we will cooperate with France and the entire international community to find a good way to solve the crisis, writes Xi in a statement in the form of a chronicle in the French newspaper Le Figaro.
In the chronicle, he clarifies that China is not a party or participant in the Ukraine war.
On Sunday afternoon, he landed in Paris, where on Monday he will meet both President Emmanuel Macron and the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen. After that, he will continue to Serbia and Hungary, where Xi will meet some of Europe’s most pro-China leaders.
