KINGSTON, NY – People’s Place, an agency that serves the needy, will hold a Thanksgiving brunch at its Community Café, 777 Broadway, on Thursday, Nov. 23.
The free brunch will be offered from 10 am to 12:30 pm
The menu will include butternut squash bisque, egg and hash brown, casserole with or without sausage, pumpkin pie french toast, Thanksgiving Sliders (roll with turkey, cranberry sauce and dressing); spiral ham, mashed sweet potatoes, and warm apple crisp with vanilla ice cream.
It is the first Thanksgiving brunch to be held at the People’s Place Community Café. Brunch will be prepared by Community Café Chef Dennis Quinn and People’s Place volunteers.
The meal is free. Donations to People’s Place are being accepted.
