Crime and justice: The notifications apply to everything from sexual harassment, bullying and discrimination to objectionable conditions within the working environment, management or routine failures, reports The Defense Forum.
Of the 441 notification cases, 283 of them were defined in the Norwegian Armed Forces annual report such as cases with allegations of objectionable circumstances under the Working Environment Act.
125 of these cases are still pending. According to the Norwegian Armed Forces, there are 158 cases that do not include the notification provisions of the Working Environment Act.
In 2022, the Norwegian Armed Forces received 255 inquiries in its central notification system. Defense departments had also received 167 notification cases during the year, according to last year’s annual report.
In the annual report, the Norwegian Armed Forces write that they are strengthening notification handling.
