Back in 2013 on the Migos track “Versace”, Drake cringely rapped “I’m tryna give Halle Berry a baby and no one can stop me.”

And apparently, even Halle Berry can’t stop him from using a photo of her, either.

According to Berry, Drake reached out to her to ask if he could use a photo of her being “slimed” at the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards as the cover art for his new single “Slime You Out” alongside SZA.

While Berry claims she told Drake not to use the picture, he apparently did anyway, which resulted in the Academy Award-winning actress calling the 36-year-old rapper out on Instagram.

“Didn’t get my permission,” Berry replied to a comment on Instagram. “That’s not cool I thought better of him! When people you admire disappoint you you have to be the bigger person and move on!”

In another comment, Berry specified that Drake actually asked her but didn’t listen to her request.

“Cuz he asked me and I said NO that’s why [I’m mad],” Berry responded to a fan’s comment, who said Drake likely paid for the image on Getty.

“Why ask if you intend to do what you want to do! That was the f— to me. Not cool. You get it?”

Berry also posted a quote to her Instagram that read “Sometimes you have the be the bigger guy… even if you’re a woman!”, which is obviously in reference to the situation with Drake.

As a result of their ongoing confrontation, Twitter users have been reminded of Drake’s lyrics about Berry in the song “Versace”, which one user categorized as “grim”.

“Slime On You” is a single off of Drake’s new album For All The Dogs, which was originally supposed to be released in late August before being delayed to October 6.

At this time, Drake nor his team has not responded to any request to comment from various outlets.
