Russell Brand has denied allegations of rape and sexual abuse made against him in a joint investigation by Channel 4, The Times and The Sunday Times.

Four women allege that the comedian turned political pundit sexually abused them between 2006 and 2013, with more women coming forward since the allegations came to light.

At the height of his fame, when Brand was married to pop-star Katy Perry and starring in Hollywood blockbusters, the comedian and actor lived in Los Angeles.

However, in recent years he has relocated back to the UK and now lives in the countryside with his wife and two daughters.

Let’s take a look at their home.

Where does Russell Brand live

Russell Brand currently lives with his pregnant wife Laura Gallacher and two children in a quaint country cottage which the Mirror reports he bought for £3.3 million in 2016.

The house is situated in dreamy Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, and is dubbed the ‘Thatched Cottage’.

The six bedroom house is 3,938 square foot and is located on a 1-acre plot overlooking the River Thames.

The ‘chocolate box’ home, built in 1897, once belonged to the Queen Mother’s cousin, Elizabeth Bowes Lyons – and is also famous for appearing in Inspector Morse sequel Lewis.

In 2016, it was reported that Brand, who paints himself has anti-capitalist spent £1 million adding a luxury swimming pool and private cinema to the property.

Brand and his family reportedly keep chickens on the property and his dog Bear can often be seen running around the garden in videos posted to his social media channels.

Followers of Brand’s social media accounts have been able to get a glimpse inside the property through videos posted by the comedian over the years.

Clips show the rustic farmhouse look of the property, with wooden beams lining the walls and dried plants and flowers hanging from the ceilings.

Brand often videos himself practicing yoga and meditation inside the house and has an ice bath in his garden, which he often films himself getting in, telling viewers ‘you have to be comfortable with getting uncomfortable.’

As well as his Oxfordshire mansion, Brand also owns a Grade II listed pub in the village of Pishill, which he purchased in 2020 for £850,000.

It is known as the Crown Inn and can accomodate up to 120 guests and has a two bedroom cottage attached to it.

Brand uses the pub as a recording studio and many of the videos posted to his Rumble channel are filmed there, including the video published on Friday, in which he denied the allegations made against him.

The pub has been temporarily closed since the accusations of rape and sexual assault about Brand came to light.

Brand also owns a property in Hollywood, which he purchased £2.4 million back in 2020.
